Matthew Jones

Matt Jones is a seasoned corporate venture investor with more than 25 years of experience across the materials and sustainability technologies. He is currently Managing Partner of Syensqo Ventures (formerly Solvay Ventures), the corporate venture capital arm of Syensqo, where he invests in innovative companies across advanced materials, the energy transition, and sustainable tech. Throughout his career, Matt has worked at the intersection of emerging technologies and large corporations, helping startups forge strategic partnerships and accelerate commercialization. Matt holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
